HWBOT World Tour – Moscow 2017
The HWBOT World Tour takes its first trip to Russia on September 29th 2017 for IgroMir Expo, the original PC gaming and video game exhibition of Russia. As with all HWBOT World Tour events, the focus will be about exposing Russian gamers an enthusiasts to Overclocking. The event will include Overclocking Workshops where attendees can get their first hands-on experience of overclocking. There will also be the chance to watch East Europe’s finest Extreme Overclockers compete in the Overclocking World Championship (OCWC) Qualifier where a place in the World Championship Final is at stake. Our first trip to East Europe promises to be lots of fun.
Ambient Overclocking Workshops for All IgroMir Expo Visitors: September 28 – 30
For the first time ever Igromir Expo attendees will be given the opportunity to discover the world of Overclocking for themselves. From September 28-30, visitors will be able to sign up for free Overclocking Workshops. Each workshop session will last around 30 minutes and involve receiving expert tuition from locally-based professional overclockers. After learning the basics of how to push the frequency of an Intel CPU, attendees will be given the chance to get hands on with one of the many systems setup in the workshop area.
After pushing the CPU and tweak voltages and other settings, you can then run the XTU benchmark and submit your highest scores to the OC-ESPORTS platform. At the end of three days of Overclocking Workshops, the top four scorers will be invited back on October 1st to compete head to head in the Ambient World Tour -Moscow 2017 contest. Some great hardware prizes from our event sponsors will be made available for the contest winner!
Note: Workshops attendance is free to all IgroMir Expo attendees. No ticket required. The Ambient World Tour contest is open to workshop attendees and all HWBOT Rookie, Novice and Enthusiast league members.
Overclockers Gathering: September 28 – 30
As with all HWBOT World Tour events, an Overclockers Gathering will be available. This is a place where overclockers can meet, hang out and enjoy overclocking together in a relaxed environment with lots of LN2 provided. The event is a BYOC (Bring You Own Computer) event. To take part you need to purchase an LN2 ticket via this EventBrite event page . The LN2 ticket will also allow you to take part in the Overclocking World Championship Qualifier (see below).
The Overclocking World Championship 2017 – Moscow Qualifier: September 28 – October 1st
At each stop of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 an Overclocking World Championship Qualifier contest is held. These are extreme overclocking contests where the region’s top overclocking talent are invited to compete head to head for the ultimate prize – a ticket to the OCWC Final at the end of the year.
