The HWBOT World Tour returns to North America for the second time this year, attending the DreamHack Montreal 2017 event on September 2nd – 8th. As ever the idea behind the event is to expose gamers and PC enthusiasts to the world casual ambient and extreme and competitive overclocking. HWBOT will host Overclocking workshops where attendees can enjoy a free tutorial from seasoned overclockers, a Montreal 2017 Ambient contest and the Overclocking World Championship Montreal Qualifier contest for extreme overclockers. There will also be an Overclocking Gathering with unlimited access to LN2.
From September 2nd to 6th the HWBOT World Tour will once again be headed to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, joining forces with the Jagat Review crew to host the Asia Pacific leg of the tour. Indonesia has a long and proud history when it comes to Overclocking, producing some of the most feared and respected Overclocking talent in the World.
The HWBOT World Tour returns to Cape Town, South Africa for the Electronics & Gaming Expo (EGE) event. Running from July 29th to 30th, gamers and PC enthusiasts will be able to get a real taste of the world of competitive Overclocking. Attendees will have the chance to get hands on and give Overclocking a try for the first time by signing up for an Overclocking Workshop. They will also get the chance to enjoy some truly Extreme Overclocking by checking out the Overclocking World Championship Qualifier contest where the country’s best Overclocking talent battle it out for a place in the Overclocking World Championship final. The LN2 will be in full flow!
The guys from the Spanish Overclocker Club return to Dreamhack Valencia to host yet another OC SCHOOL workshop in association with HWBOT X.
When and where
The Dreamhack Valencia is taking place from July 14-17 in Valencia, Spain. The HWBOT X Valencia OC School workshops will be conducted on location both Friday (14) and Saturday (15).

- 11:00 – 22:00 – Practice and small tournament for the workshop participants

Content of the workshop, what will you learn
During the workshop we will be introducing various types of cooling systems: air, liquid cooling, peltier, LN2 etc. We will also be talking about some technical aspects of overclocking such as:
- adjustments in the BIOS
- Memory Latencies
- and Voltages
And of course give you an overview of the various benchmarks that exists.
We will be sharing with you the common practice techniques to achieve a good overclocking. This will include a brief on CPU delidding, lapping and voltmodding!

First Amateur 2017 Overclocking Tournament
For the first time in Honduras, the first Amateur Overclocking Tournament will be held. This event will take place in May at the San Pedro Sula University, which has provided us with support for what is Overclocking Community that Is being formed in the country. Also thanks to the previous events the community of Overclocking is growing and adding to the different leagues of HWBOT that is why in this tournament we have the support of HWBOT, Seasonic,Noctua And ADATA who have supported us so that said Tournament was reality by first time.

The idea of the First Overclocking tournament has as purpose to know what is Overclocking which is a healthy practice and very interesting that allows to know more of the hardware, also allows to gain experience for the people who are in charge to assemble computers or to know more about Circuits in the area of electronics, for the first time here in Honduras we held such an event with the support of important brands and we thank the support to each of them for their support of this event.
The fourth leg of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 brings us back to Taipei City in Taiwan for Computex 2017. As one of the biggest technology trade-shows in the world, it’s the perfect place to expose the industry and media visitors to the world of Overclocking.
This time, it’s not just a demonstration but I’m offering you the chance to try out extreme overclocking for yourself. If this is something you’ve ever wanted to do, join us!

Stop number three of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 brings us back to Poitiers, France for Gamers Assembly. As the biggest LAN Party in France, it’s a great opportunity to expose the country’s gamers and PC enthusiasts to the world of Overclocking. The Poitiers 2017 event will include Overclocking Workshops plus competitive Overclocking contests for both Ambient and Extreme overclockers.
The Bina Nusantara University will host the ‘Unleash Your Performance’ – Overclocking Festival in Jakarta Indonesia on March 25th. The event will include a seminar from leading Indonesian Overclocker bboyjezz followed by a taste of live competitive overclocking with an Overclocking Competition.

Overclocking Competition: Structure
The contest will begin with two qualification rounds with four teams of two people competing in each round. Qualification rounds will last one hour and involve two benchmarks. Teams can only submit scores once in the one hour contest time. The two highest scoring teams from each round will progress to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-final matches will last only fifteen minutes with each team member given a separate system to use. Team members cannot communicate (communication will result in instant disqualification). After ten minutes, they have to switch system for the last 5 minutes.
The Final will be last an hour and use four benchmarks with teams split again to use two systems. Teams will have to switch three times during the round with switch times randomly draw by the judges. Overclockers will not know when they have to switch systems.

The OC School | HWBOT X Gipuzkoa organized by the Spanish Overclockers Club is returning to the mythical LAN Party for a third year in a row.
