Stop number three of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 brings us back to Poitiers, France for Gamers Assembly. As the biggest LAN Party in France, it’s a great opportunity to expose the country’s gamers and PC enthusiasts to the world of Overclocking. The Poitiers 2017 event will include Overclocking Workshops plus competitive Overclocking contests for both Ambient and Extreme overclockers.
The Bina Nusantara University will host the ‘Unleash Your Performance’ – Overclocking Festival in Jakarta Indonesia on March 25th. The event will include a seminar from leading Indonesian Overclocker bboyjezz followed by a taste of live competitive overclocking with an Overclocking Competition.

Overclocking Competition: Structure
The contest will begin with two qualification rounds with four teams of two people competing in each round. Qualification rounds will last one hour and involve two benchmarks. Teams can only submit scores once in the one hour contest time. The two highest scoring teams from each round will progress to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-final matches will last only fifteen minutes with each team member given a separate system to use. Team members cannot communicate (communication will result in instant disqualification). After ten minutes, they have to switch system for the last 5 minutes.
The Final will be last an hour and use four benchmarks with teams split again to use two systems. Teams will have to switch three times during the round with switch times randomly draw by the judges. Overclockers will not know when they have to switch systems.

The ‘Unleash Your Performance’ event is organized by Waroeng Khalif and the Bina Nusantara Computer Club and supported by premium partners ASUS ROG, with support from Enermax, ID-Cooling and Team Group, Inc.
The OC School | HWBOT X Gipuzkoa organized by the Spanish Overclockers Club is returning to the mythical LAN Party for a third year in a row.
Once more, the SOC (Spanish Overclockers Club) is ready to welcome the many PC Gaming enthusiasts for exiting workshops where everything is about performance. Nothing less.

This time, the workshops got an upgrade. Thanks to HWBOT and Intel’s generosity, the workshops systems will be equipped with 6950X CPUs! These CPUs should be giving plenty of cores for the new recruits to play with.
The French Federation of OverClocking (FFOC) is proud to announce its second event ever! This event hosted in partnership with Corsair and HWBOT will be, once again, focusing on educating PC enthusiasts through open overclocking and PC Building workshops.
The HWBOT X Orleans will be taking place at the Orleans Game Show 2 in Orleans, France on February 17, 18 and 19 in the city of Orleans (somewhat close to Paris) in France.
The FFOC team will be proposing 2 types of activities to all visitors and participants of the OGS#2 :
- PC Building workshop: a very simple and fun experience in which participants will learn the basic skills required to assemble a working PC.
- Overclocking workshop: it’s not enough to know how to build a system, you also need to be able to tweak it. With these overclocking workshops, the FFOC staff will teach how to max out on Air-Cooling both the CPU and the Graphics cards of the provided systems.
All these activities are free and open to all without age restrictions.
Important: we will giveaway a Corsair power supply as well as some extra hardware & many goodies to participants of the workshops – join and try your luck!
The OGS will run by the following schedule :
- Friday February 17th : Doors open at 6pm
- Saturday February 18th : Open all day (24h)
- Sunday February 19th : Open all day until 6pm
All our activities will be following the above schedule too. There will be a registration list on site to book a later session. We will have both 2D and 3D overclocking workshops, make sure to participate to both!

The second stop of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 is a return trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil for the Campus Party 2017 event. The event will give Latin American gamers and PC enthusiasts the chance to enjoy some fantastic Overclocking workshops plus competitive Overclocking contests at both Ambient and Extreme levels, plus an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed social environment with other like minded folks.
The Dancop Dreamhack Demonstration takes place during Dreamhack in Leipzig from January 13 to 15. The #1 of the HWBOT Overclockers League will demonstrate extreme overclocking at the ASUS Republic of Gamers booth. Alongside his partners ASUS and Seasonic, Dancop will attack World Records and Global First Place results with the new Intel Core i7 7700K and ASUS ROG Maximus IX Apex motherboard. The HWBOT World Tour takes to the road once again with it’s very first stop in Las Vegas in the US. The HWBOT World Tour – Las Vegas 2017 will in fact be the first event on the West Coast of the US. The online qualification contest is the prelude to the GALAX GOC 2016 Grand Final which will take place in Wuhan, China in mid-December.

The initial phase of the contest is a Worldwide Qualification phase. GALAX GOC 2016 Final: December 17-18 2016
The top 12 overclockers from the qualification contest will be invited to compete in the GOC 2016 Final which will be held in Wuhan, Central China on December 17 and 18th. The two day contest will involve extreme overclocking with all twelve overclockers competing head to head across 3D benchmarks from Futuremark (details to follow).

The HWBOT World Championship 2016 is the center-piece of of the HWBOT World Tour 2016. This event is one of a special king as it gathers all the local World Series champions in Berlin for one last competition. This is the ultimate challenge to crown who is going to known as the HWBOT World Champion overclocker of the year.
The HWBOT World Championship 2016 – Caseking Berlin features the following activities:
- HWBOT World Championship: Overclocking Competition for extreme overclockers. 6 Finalists (champions of local World Series competitions) and 2 extra contestants selected at the event during an ultimate qualification round.
- Overclocking gathering: a BYOC bench party for extreme and enthusiast overclockers
The ASUS ROG Camp 2016 teaches new overclockers the ropes of extreme overclocking in a two-day workshop and competition hosted by ASUS ROG Germany and Der8auer.
After a month long qualifier via an OC-Esports.io competition. The top 8 overclockers in the lead are invited for two days of extreme overclocking at the Caseking showrooms in Berlin, Germany. Through this very exclusive event, the select few will be receive an extreme overclocking education from German’s top overclocker der8auer (Roman Hartung).
ROG Camp 2016 Event Schedule
For this event, the preliminary schedule is a following:
- Day 1 – December 2nd: Workshop / Practice = After a little bit of theory, overclockers will be invited to practice with LN2 cooling
- Day 2 – December 3rd: Competition = Overclockers are now competing against each other in a classic competition format for glory and prizes!
