PAX Australia is one of the biggest technology and gaming events of the year, bringing together the country’s PC and console gamers and enthusiasts under one massive roof for a weekend of pure techie fun. Running from November 4th to 6th of this year, we are pleased to tell you that PAX Australia 2016 had plenty of overclocking action going on. HWBOT Director Pieter-Jan Plaisier was invited alongside Team AU to give a presentation and OC demo on stage at the show, followed by a Q&A session with the audience and some live, record-breaking benchmarking.
The simplest and easiest way to understand a very general concept of overclocking is that of increasing the processor frequency to improve performance. The lucky few among you may have a system that runs at 5GHz or above. Extreme overclockers however, go well beyond that limit.
TeamAU, one of the world’s most well-known overclocking teams, is getting ready to show it’s magic on the Intel booth at PAX Australia 2016 in Melbourne! The Australian group of extreme overclockersis a well-establish name in the hardware industry. TeamAU has rocked the global international technology tradeshow Computex in Taiwan earlier this year and in November the team cooperate with Intel Australia to bring you the best and most exciting extreme overclocking booth.
